TERMS OF USE OF AMIGO KOREA WAREHOUSE SERVICES

1. Introduction
These Terms of Use (“Agreement”), together with our Privacy Policy, form a legally binding contract between you (“User”, “Customer”, or “You”) and AMIGO KOREA WAREHOUSE Co., Ltd., including its subsidiaries, platforms, and tools (“Amigo Korea”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), regarding your access to and use of our warehouse, forwarding, and related logistics services.
By registering on amigokorea.com or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time to align with operational requirements. If changes occur, we will notify you via email and/or direct notice on our platform.
2. Personal Information & Account Responsibilities
2.1 Communication
By creating an account, you agree to receive service-related updates and occasional promotional messages. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time through your account settings.
2.2 Required Information
To fulfill our services (including import, export, storage, and shipping), we may request additional details such as passport number, tax identification number, or other identification documents.
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any unique warehouse code assigned to you. Any package received under your warehouse code will be considered under your responsibility. Misuse or incorrect sharing of your code may result in loss or misdelivery of items, for which Amigo Korea will not be held liable.
2.4 Account Deletion
You may request account deletion via your dashboard, provided all outstanding payments have been settled.
2.5 Prohibited Items
You agree not to ship or store items classified as dangerous, prohibited, or illegal under Korean law, international transport regulations, or carrier policies (including UPS, FedEx, and EMS lists). Any such items may be rejected, confiscated, or destroyed without refund or compensation.
3. Services
3.1 Package Receiving
To ensure proper processing, all incoming packages must include your assigned warehouse code in the shipping address. Items without a warehouse code will be placed in a separate holding area and may be disposed of if unclaimed within 60 days.
3.2 Overseas Shipments to Our Warehouse
Customers sending goods from abroad must contact us beforehand for customs guidance. Any customs fees charged upon arrival will be billed to you as an “extra charge” payable before further processing.
3.3 Storage Policy

Standard Plan (“AMIGO BASIC”): First 60 days free storage per package from arrival date. After that, $1 (1,000 KRW) per day per package applies.

Membership Plans: Free storage for the duration of the plan. After membership ends, standard rates apply.

Packages without shipping requests after 60 days (Basic) or after membership expiration will be discarded without notice.
3.4 Custom Purchasing Service
We can purchase items on your behalf only from official retail stores. Payment must be made within 24 hours of invoice unless otherwise agreed. Orders from second-hand markets or physical store visits are generally not available, except for special arrangements.
3.5 Package Information for Shipping
Before requesting shipping, you must enter accurate package content details (item name, quantity, category, and value in USD). Amigo Korea is not responsible for incorrect declarations that may cause customs issues.
3.6 Shipping Requests & Payment
All shipping requests must be paid within 30 days. Unpaid shipments may be discarded. Any false shipping information (address, contents, value, etc.) is the sole responsibility of the customer.
3.7 Customs Clearance & Taxes — Important Notice
Customs clearance requirements vary depending on the destination country and the policies of the shipping carrier. Upon arrival of your package, you may be charged customs duties, import taxes, or related fees.

These charges are not imposed by Amigo Korea; they are levied by the customs authorities of your destination country.

It is your obligation to pay these fees within the deadline set by the relevant authorities to release your package from customs.
⚠ Inaccurate Value Declarations:

If any customs clearance issue arises due to an incorrect or undervalued declaration, you must promptly provide official receipts or invoices for your orders.

An Amigo Korea warehouse extra handling fee may apply for such cases.

If problems persist due to repeated misdeclarations, Amigo Korea warehouse reserves the right to adjust the declared value to ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Continuous violations may result in suspension of shipping services for your account.
🚫 Refusal to Pay Taxes:

If you refuse to pay import duties or taxes, your shipment may be returned, seized, or destroyed by customs, and Amigo Korea warehouse will not be held liable for the loss or any resulting delays.

Should the shipping carrier contact the sender due to your refusal to pay, Amigo Korea warehouse reserves the right to take legal action to recover the outstanding amount from you.

Any complications, penalties, or costs arising from non-payment remain entirely your responsibility.
3.8 Repacking & Consolidation
We repack packages to optimize space and minimize potential damage. We are not liable for damage occurring during international transport.
3.9 Shipping Price Estimation
Our estimated shipping fee calculator is updated monthly. The final cost can only be determined after your shipment is packed. The final amount may differ from the estimate provided.
3.10 Returned Packages
If delivery is unsuccessful for any reason (incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, customs clearance issues, etc.), the package will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the carrier according to their policy.
We will notify you if we receive a return notice from the carrier. However, Amigo Korea is not responsible for packages discarded or returned unless you take the necessary actions within the time limit specified by the carrier.
In case of return, the customer is responsible for all related costs, including shipping fees, customs duties, local taxes, import charges, and any re-delivery fees. These charges must be settled before the package can be resent. For assistance, contact us at amigokoreawarehouse@gmail.com.
4. Payment
Accepted currencies: KRW and USD.

KRW payments: Processed via WISE or approved bank transfers, with proof of payment required.

USD payments: Processed via PayPal or credit card through authorized payment gateways.
5. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. In such cases, remaining packages must be shipped at your expense or will be discarded.
Packages may also be discarded if:

They exceed the allowed storage period.

They lack a warehouse code and remain unclaimed for more than 60 days.

Shipping fees remain unpaid after 30 days.
Once discarded, packages cannot be recovered.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ulsan, South Korea.
